Important Course Information and Legal Disclaimer

Please read the following carefully before enrolling in any course offered by Major Case Training Group LLC. By registering for and attending our training sessions, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Course Attendance and Cancellation Policy

  • Course Cancellation by Major Case Training Group LLC Due to Low Attendance: Major Case Training Group LLC reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a course cancellation by Major Case Training Group LLC, all enrolled students will receive a full refund of their course fees. We will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled students of a cancellation as soon as possible.
  • Student Cancellations: Students may cancel their enrollment and request a refund or substitution up to 14 calendar days prior to the scheduled start date of the course.
    • For cancellations made within this 14-day window, students have two options:
      1. Receive a full refund of their course fees.
      2. Substitute a fellow sworn law enforcement officer in their place for the same course. The substitute must meet any stated prerequisites for the course.

  • No-Shows: Students who do not attend the course and do not provide notice of cancellation as per the policy above will be considered a "no-show." No refunds will be issued for no-shows. The full course fee will be forfeited.

Intellectual Property and Use of Materials

  • Ownership of Materials: All training materials, including but not limited to, presentations, handouts, manuals, exercises, case studies, videos, and any other content provided by Major Case Training Group LLC during our courses (collectively, "Training Materials") are the exclusive property of Major Case Training Group LLC and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • Permitted Use: Enrollees are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Training Materials solely for their personal educational purposes in connection with the course they have enrolled in.
  • Prohibited Use: Except as expressly permitted herein, the Training Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, shared, disseminated, publicly displayed, adapted, modified, or otherwise used in any form or by any means, in whole or in part, without the express prior written consent of Major Case Training Group LLC. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing materials with individuals not enrolled in the course, uploading materials to public or private networks, or using them for commercial purposes.
  • No Transfer of Rights: Enrollment in a course does not transfer any ownership rights or intellectual property rights in the Training Materials to the enrollee. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Major Case Training Group LLC.

General Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

  • Educational Purpose Only: The training provided by Major Case Training Group LLC is for educational and informational purposes only and is intended to enhance the professional knowledge and skills of law enforcement professionals. It is not intended to provide legal advice or to replace official policies, procedures, or legal counsel.
  • Accuracy of Information: While Major Case Training Group LLC strives to ensure the accuracy and currency of the information presented in our courses, laws, regulations, and best practices can change rapidly. Major Case Training Group LLC does not warrant or guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of all information provided. Enrollees are responsible for staying informed about current laws, regulations, and agency policies applicable to their duties.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Major Case Training Group LLC and its instructors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the course materials; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the course; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
  • Assumption of Risk: By enrolling in our courses, you acknowledge and agree that you are doing so at your own risk. Major Case Training Group LLC is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss that may occur during your participation in our in-person training sessions, unless directly caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Major Case Training Group LLC.
